THE DANCERS
Aside from being one of the first American Celtic Rock bands, and the first to use bagpipes, The Clan were also the first to use Irish dancers in their live show.

Riverdance was still four or five years in the future, but when The Clan added stepdancers to their show, crowds took to it in a big way.
"Being in New York gives you a great pool of talent to choose from, and we always got the best dancers around. At first we had them wear the traditional dresses, but as time went by we put them in more modern outfits." |
"It brought a whole new dimension to the act and put us on another level. It's great to feel that rush of energy from the crowd when the girls come flying out."
